well....im finally done with midterms. i just finished my last one.

last week was awesome! i met some more folks who are into anime and videogames. it all happened in the bowling alley/video game room, playing Rival Schools and Tekken 5. So...i think it was about a good ten of us and we came up with our own little group... and now we are all planning to dress up for Halloween. Most of the guys want to be someone from either Naruto or Bleach. There's only two girls...myself and another, whose CRAZY about Death Note as I am. She wants to be Misa (or Christie Montiero from Tekken) and if she does be Misa, she wants her guy friend (she has a crush on) to be Light. In that case... I will be L...

wow...so i checked into my dorm last weekend...

i got my own room!! YESSSSSS!!!

anyway, going into the second week of the semester, everything's pretty groovy...seen familiar faces, going off campus more often than usual, having only one class early in the morning of thurs and fridays, spending hundreds of dollars on paint and sculpture supplies (yea i have paint and sculpture class...on the same day...) ive also been able to get my cosplay stuff more often now. huh...idk how that happened....

so a friend of mine has SO many activities lined up for us to do (that is...if i have enough munny to do so...im a broke college student at the most)...if we dont make it to NekoCon...i will be a mess... considering the fact that I REALLY want to go... having one too many uncomfortable [but fun] con experiences is enough for me....i want to go to a place where i can actually BREATHE. Also planning to go to Bucsh (sp?) Gardens for Halloween....or Kings Dominion... but i have to work VERY hard to get those A's cuz' i want them...

anyway, enough of my rambling. (looks at the time) oh dear....i have to eat dinner and head back to my sanctuary (room).

Well...i am currently preparing for another convention in Virginia (USA) called nekocon.

Since i cosplayed for Otakon and LOVED it, I was going to dress up again. Problem is, I do not know who.

I am SERIOUSLY leaning towards BB (Beyond Birthday) from Death note: Another Note...

but i am scared to wear contacts (like my eyes arent dark enough :P)

anyway...til then i am still deciding.

its been awhile since ive been back here!!
i have lots to share..

i guess i will start with the ending of spring semester!

first year of college was great!! i survived! lol. i got awesome final grades, 4 A's, 1 B, and a C. Thats groovy! When i came home, i was happy to see the city! its kinda slow out there in the country. Now im kinda ready to go back. ^.^

Anyway, I went back to my job working at the zoo. (I work in this really big gift shop we have). Nothings changed...except my boss has ordered alot more groovy and cute stuff. But she's changed herself. I always tend to stay on her good side though.

Everything has been quiet up until the passing of the Pop King. I was tore up for days on end. I couldnt believe. Im still grieving. My mom has been blasting Thriller in her car, while I have been playing Off the Wall in the house. R.I.P MJ...we'll miss you lots...

ON a lighter note, my sis (my super special awesome buddy) and i are going to go to Otakon and see VAMPS. Less than 2 weeks away! Im so excited!! We are also cosplaying on Friday, so that'll be fun! This is my first cosplaying experience so, I hope to look good for the camera. :D

oh yea, i also saw transformers: revenge of the fallen. Michael Bay is a great director, looking forward to the third Transformers!

this is my first journal post! so im kinda new i guess haha.

but..just some things about me!!! Umm....im currently in college. i am now a rising sophomore!! Yay me! I survived my first year! Haha. I am majoring in Studio Art as ARt is my passion. I love to draw and create things with my hands. I had to take a graphic design course which was very interesting and fun, since it was my major in high school. Also, I'll be posting some fanart of my favorite celebrities and jrockers every now and then. ^_^

Umm...oh yea, i love the japanese culture. Its so cool and i love anime. I also love jrock and jpop too. Music is an essential part in my daily life, so, i cannot live without my ipod. I listen to everything but not every song! Also, i go to anime convention every year in my hometown. Maybe when i save up enough money i can go to others as well.

I am a fan of Matsuyama Kenichi too! I fell in love with him and the rest of his work after watching his outstanding performance in Death Note, Death Note: The Last Name, and in L: Change the World. I am really looking forward to seeing his new movie Ultra Miracle Love Story.

So, thats all the ranting i can do for now!! I may not be on as much as school has been keeping me extraordinarily busy! *buckling knees* Haha but take care!!!
